As the kids of the creek rebuild, Craig and Omar uncover a new quest.

Tropes:

  • Call-Back: A random kid recognizes Craig as "Jacob" from "Jacob of the Creek".
  • Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life: Now that he doesn't have to guard the overpass anymore, Omar doesn't know what to do with himself, and feels sorry for all the time he's lost. In the end, finding the pieces of the King's Cube provides him with a new purpose.
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: Throughout the episode, Craig makes a big deal about saving the creek from the King's tyranny, but no one seems to care. He finally gets some recognition from the Skater Kids by the end.
  • Important Haircut: At the end, Omar ties his dreadlocks back so they no longer cover his eyes, signifying that he's ready to move on from his old identity as the Green Poncho.
  • Improvised Weapon: Having left his bow behind, Omar improvises one out of a stick and the drawstring of his hoodie.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: J.P. claims that finding all the pieces of the King's Cube could take "all season".
  • Noodle Incident: Apparently, Omar had an encounter with a kid named Wolfgang, whom he caused to lose some hair with a gum arrow, resulting in him being referred to as "Tommy Tophat".
  • Previously on…: The episode opens with Craig recapping the events of the Capture the Flag game to Jessica.
  • Resolved Noodle Incident: It's revealed that Kit had stayed in summer school despite Xavier's defeat, as it did not bring her back to the Creek after the Capture-The-Flag game.
  • Sequel Hook: After saving the leader of the Skater Kids, Craig receives a piece of a puzzle cube. Omar recognizes it as a piece of the King's Cube, a Dismantled MacGuffin that, when assembled, reveals the location of something called the "Heart of the Forest". This gives Omar and the Stump Kids a new quest to occupy their time.
  • So What Do We Do Now?: Omar has this problem. He dedicated his life to protecting the Creek from Xavier. But what purpose is there for Poncho now that the kids no longer need protecting?
