After firing one of the Green Poncho's arrows into the other side of the overpass, Craig learns the mysterious past of this protector.
Tropes:
- Brick Joke: At the start of the episode, J.P. theorizes that the Green Poncho likes pineapple on his pizza before the others dismiss it as gross. Turns out he really does like it, for the exact reason J.P. expresses.
- Connected All Along: Maya used to be the Green Poncho/Omar's friend until the future king made them fight to be his right hand.
- Cross-Referenced Titles: The title plays on "Under the Overpass", the episode that first introduced the Green Poncho and Other Side of the Creek.
- Fingore: Maya got Xavier to let go of a tree branch by pretending she would break his fingers with her baseball bat.
- Given Name Reveal: We learn that the Green Poncho's name is Omar, and the King's name is Xavier.
- Insistent Terminology: Xavier says his family prefer to be called "people of wealth" instead of "rich".
- Legacy Character: We learn that both The King and the Green Poncho were titles held by others before their current incarnations.
- Lovable Jock: Maya's predecessor Randy was a goofy Friend to All Children.
- The Man Makes the Weapon: Omar initially refused to fight Maya and ends up beating her whiffle bat with a pool noodle.
- Origins Episode: We see how Green Poncho got his current position, and how the King and Maya relate to him.
- She Is the King: Xavier's predecessor/older sister Cheyenne was still called the "King" of Herkleton Mills.
- Surrounded by Idiots: Cheyenne hates how laidback her BFF Randy is.
- Throwing the Distraction: Green Poncho distracts some guards by throwing a ball labelled "Distraction Ball".
