The kids meet an eccentric Cardboard Creator that invites Craig to help finish his masterpiece.
Tropes:
- Accent Slipup: Carter affects a Southern accent when he first meets Craig, but he drops this accent as soon as he wages war against Cardboard City.
- Bamboo Technology: Carter has figured out how to make a fully furbished building - complete with plumbing - entirely out of cardboard. With Craig's help, he turns it into a Walking Tank.
- Duct Tape for Everything: Carter uses a lot of duct tape in his cardboard constructions, especially for water-proofing.
- Humongous Mecha: Carter and Craig somehow manage to make a working robot out of cardboard.
- Kids Prefer Boxes: Carter and Zoe take this up to eleven by building entire cities out of cardboard boxes. Craig also likes to build things out of boxes, while Kelsey likes to beat them up and JP pounces on them while pretending to be a cat.
- Made of Explodium: Carter's cardboard robot somehow explodes after it's destroyed.
- Slow Clap: Carter after watching Craig build a recliner chair out of a box.
- Start My Own: After being kicked out of Cardboard City, Carter built New Cardboard City to show them his ideas for cardboard are better. And then he makes it into a cardboard robot to destroy the city.
- Technician vs. Performer The conflict of the episode, Craig likes to be technical and build, while Kelsey and JP like to destroy with play. Carter left Cardboard City because he was ambitiously obsessed with greater and greater constructs, whereas its citizens were satisfied with their cruder play.
- Walking Tank: Carter makes one out of cardboard.
