Passione moves on from Forrnest to the rambunctious fighting sitty of Volkhanom, where they meet one of the Grand Champions: Atlissa Strongadanya. She's eager to test the party's strength, and everyone sets about preparing for the upcoming fight with her. For her part in these preparations, Osra visits the local Forge of Moradin to meet Father 4NACE and finally put her dragon materials to use, creating her party's best arsenal yet.

Unfortunately, the audio footage for this episode was lost, so everything done within this session was condensed down into a two-minute recap segment.

Tropes Found in This Episode:

  • Blood Knight: Just about every resident in Volkhanom is a bruiser looking for a fight; few are hesitant to throw hands, even outside of the town's many sanctioned tournaments.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: A mysterious, silhouetted figure appears at the end of the episode to set up a plot point that'll be introduced very soon in the campaign. Eagle-eyed viewers who have perused the official CrafDND art gallery will recognize the figure as Lord Damniel.
Damniel: Ahhh... The sleeper... has awakened. Hohohohohohoho....
  • Final Boss Preview: As a Grand Champion, Atlissa is one of the final opponents of the Champion's Challenge. She's impressed by Passione's efforts so far and decides to test their mettle in battle, giving them a taste of what's to come at the end of their journey. The party wins the fight, but the narrator makes a point to stress how Atlissa was knowingly holding back to give everyone a fair challenge.
  • Rank Up: Before Passione leaves Forrnest, they visit Qwill, Mori, and Dundee one last time. Qwill reveals that, with his retirement, he promoted an elated Dundee to take his place as the Ranger Champion.
