Beauty to Beast: A self-imposed variety. In the end, the creature changes back into a human performer. He reveals that once upon a time, he used to perform at the cabaret. But he grew so disillusioned with people selling their souls for fame that he manifested as an ulcer in his own stomach.
Restored My Faith in Humanity: After Courage saves the creature from dying of a heart-attack, he declares that he's so moved by Courage's good deed that, for the first time in a while, he's feeling optimistic.
Save the Villain: At most, it's "Save the Antagonist". The Creature in the walls suddenly has a heart attack from the revelation that Courage chose to save his family. Out of the goodness of his heart, Courage resuscitates him back to life, inspiring the creature to see life from a brighter point of view.
