"Sorry, she got past me!"
A Plot: Lacey pushes her idea of "Dog River Dollars", fictional cash that can only be spent in town. Most people are disinterested, but Lacey becomes suspicious about the illegal duplication of the fake money.
B Plot: Hank contracts pinkeye, and Brent and Wanda panic about it. He becomes a social pariah and is ousted from the gas station. Brent and Wanda later get a taste of their own medicine when they end up with pinkeye and are similarly shunned.
C Plot: Karen is frustrated at Davis’ inability to think for himself and order different food than her. She attempts to get revenge by copying his every word.

- Call-Back: When Brent and Lacey are shooing Wanda out of Corner Gas using a broom, Hank yells out "Hurry Hard" repeatedly.
- Comically Missing the Point: Hank gets eye drops from the doctor for his pink eye, but he thinks he's supposed to put them in a drink and swallow them.Hank: Tastes pretty terrible, though.
Lacey: Hank, I think that's supposed to go in your eye.
Hank: Orange juice in my eye? I don't think so. - Counterfeit Cash: Oscar copies the Dog River Dollars using the police department copier. They start spreading around town.Brent: But it's a fake.
Lacey: Well of course it's fake. It's a Dog River Dollar.
Brent: No, it's a fake fake. - Description Cut: Brent claims Hank kicked him out of his house when Brent had the flu. The cut shows it was the other way around, with Brent kicking Hank out.
- Didn't Think This Through: Said basically verbatim by Brent after he kicks Hank and Wanda out of the gas station with his pinkeye germs, only for Wanda to point out that he now has to do all the work while they can go grab a beer.
- Insane Troll Logic: Oscar tries to blame the cops for counterfeiting the Dog River Dollars.Oscar: It was their photocopier! So technically they're to blame!
Davis: He's got a point.
Karen: No he doesn't! We didn't know he was copying the money. - Malaproper: Oscar can't seem to get the name "chip clip" right, calling them "chick flicks", "dip sticks", etc.
- Offscreen Inertia: Played for laughs. A scene ends with Brent and Wanda arguing over who is going to get a pinkeye-germ-infested chocolate bar off the floor. After an unrelated scene with other characters, it goes back to Brent and Wanda, still just staring at the chocolate bar and arguing.
- Previously on…: Parodied. The episode starts with one, but the "exciting conclusion" is just the reveal that Hank accidentally drank Wanda's Coke. It then gets parodied again at the end of the episode.
- Serial Numbers Filed Off: In-universe, Oscar calls Lacey out on the fact that her Dog River Dollars idea is derivative of several existing things, like Canadian Tire Money and Disney Dollars. Lacey tries to play it off.Lacey: The point is it's fun and... somewhat original.
- Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness: Wanda is the culprit, as usual. She initially calls pinkeye by it's medical name, conjunctivitis, causing Hank to think he has a more serious, possibly fatal disease.Hank: Oh man! How long have I got?
- Sick Episode: The pinkeye, which gets passed around. Everyone treats it like The Plague.
- Stop Copying Me: Karen and Davis's entire plot.
- Toilet Humour: Lacey gets angry at Brent, Hank and later Davis for laughing at the "hairy crack" on the counterfeit Dog River Dollars.Lacey: What, is everyone around here twelve?!
- Work Off the Debt: This is what Oscar assumes when Lacey says she has something else in mind in order for Oscar to make up for counterfeiting. She finds him washing dishes in the Ruby's kitchen.Lacey: No, I want you to pay me back in real money.
Oscar: Oh, okay... but you're gonna owe me for doing the dishes. - You Don't Want to Catch This: After Wanda's pinkeye has cleared up, Hank decides it's safe for him to hang out at Corner Gas again, much to Wanda's annoyance.Wanda: No, wait. Now I have a bad case of tubercu-leprosy.Hank: As long as it's not pinkeye.
