Numbuh 5 tries to save her sister Cree from a disease that KND has made in revenge for creating Chickenpox.
Now loading tropes:
- Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: While she admits to seeing Cree as her Arch-Enemy, Numbuh 5 makes it clear that for all they fight, there are some lines she won't cross with her sister, and cares enough to take the antidote for the unpoppable zit the KND hit her with just to help her. Cree cries Tears of Joy at this, and even admits to Maurice that her sister isn't that bad.
- Bait-and-Switch:
- We’re led to believe Cree got a virus that will kill her soon, but it’s actually a very ugly unpoppable zit and it’s her prom night. Given how her zit looks like, though, she has every reason to be panicking.
- Before-hand, she first appears on-screen in the form of a fish-like creature screeching "What have you done to me?!" This initially sets it up as though the virus in question has disfigured her to be a monster. But by the end of the scene, it turns out it's just a fish-themed suit, and the mysterious nature of the virus is something else.
- Everyone Has Standards: Numbuh 5 sees Cree as her enemy but she sees the punishment her sister has to endure as too far.
- Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: Cree is briefly confused when Numbuh 5 admits that she stole the cure with the intention of giving it to her, rather than keeping it from her.
- Failed a Spot Check: Sector V, sans Numbuh 5, are convinced that the prom event the teenagers are throwing is some evil plot when it's pretty clear that it's just a fancy dance. Even at the end of the episode, when Numbuhs 1 and 2 are getting ready to unleash their zit lasers, they're still convinced it's some evil event even with Cree and Maurice dressed to the nines and not wearing their armor.
- Laser-Guided Karma: The KND scientists create a new virus as retribution for the chickenpox the teenagers attempt to use against them.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Right as Cree was telling Maurice her sister and the KND aren't that bad and implied she might let up on them now that nothing can ruin her Prom night, Numbuh 1 gives the order to fire the unpoppable zit rays at the entire prom, implied to ruin the goodwill Cree had for them.
- Not Hyperbole: Cree is so pissed off that she's ready to turn Sector V's treehouse upside down to get what she wants to which Numbuh 1 dares her to do just that. We then cut to said tree house turned upside down.
- Pet the Dog: After Numbuh 5 cures her, Cree admits to Maurice that her sister isn't so bad.
- Rise of Zitboy: The virus the Kids Next Door made is one that gives zits.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Cree attacks every Kids Next Door operative to get the cure for the huge zit they put on her.
- She Cleans Up Nicely: While never a slacker in the looks department, Cree looks amazing all dolled up for her prom night.
- Skyward Scream: Cree lets out one so loud, the ground below her cracks.
- Status Quo Is God: Just as Cree admits the KND aren't so bad at times, the group is about to unleash the zit lasers at the prom, pretty much ensuring she'll go back to hating them again.
- Story Arc: This is the beginning of a story arc continuing into Operation: O.U.T.B.R.E.A.K.
- Tears of Joy: Cree gets misty eyed when Numbuh 5 gives her the cure for the unpoppable zit the KND infected her with.
- Tempting Fate: At the end of the episode, Cree notes that nothing can ruin prom now… just as the KND are about to unleash the zit lasers.
- Villain Episode: Cree is the main character of this episode and it's mostly about her going on a Wild Goose Chase for her little sister.
