Numbuh 5 journeys to the exotic Al-Shugar Desert to recover her stolen candy, the Blurpleberry Supreme, and discovers she's not the only one searching for the powerful, mystical candy.

Now Loading Tropes:

  • Anachronic Order: This episode takes place before Operation: F.A.S.T.F.O.O.D in Season 2 since Numbuh 1 is celebrating his 10th birthday here, despite Numbuh 3 being canonically younger than him.
  • Foreshadowing: Heinrich is infuriated when Numbuh 5 refers to him by the Embarrassing Nickname Heiny, saying that "My name is Heinrich Von Marzipan! I think I made that clear when we last met in Guatemala!" But why would he have needed to emphasize what his name was the last time he saw someone he already knew? Because, as revealed in the later episode Operation: C.A.R.A.M.E.L., it was a new identity he - or rather, she - was forced to adopt. The Guatemala incident had to do with a curse that turned the female Henrietta into Heinrich.
  • I Warned You: Abby tried to tell Heinrich that using the powers of the sarcophagus would backfire if he didn't share the candy. And when he later accuses her for why the candy tastes like asparagus, she responds "I tried to warn you!"
  • Never My Fault: Heinrich blames Abby for tainting the candy with the taste of asparagus when she warned him beforehand that being greedy will put that curse into effect.
  • Noodle Incident: Heinrich remains angry at Numbuh Five for "Guatemala".
  • Parody: Several:
    • This episode is an obvious parody of the first Indiana Jones film, Raiders of the Lost Ark, with Numbuh 5 as Indiana Jones and Heinrich as her/his French arch-rival, Rene Emile Belloq.
    • The ending is a parody of the Universal Studios film series, The Mummy Trilogy.
  • The Reveal: Throughout the episode, Numbuh 5 repeatedly states how before it was stolen from her, she'd been saving the Blurpleberry Supreme for "a special occasion". It isn't until the very end that we find out what the special occasion was; it's Numbuh 1's birthday.
  • "Shaggy Dog" Story: Numbuh 5's efforts this whole episode turn out to be for nothing just because Numbuh 1 likes cherry flavored candy more.
  • Stopped Reading Too Soon: Heinrich starts reading the inscription on King Two-tons-of-candy's tomb "from the forehead ye shall control the sarcophagus. But share not...blah, blah, blah. Who gives a caramel?" Just as Heinrich prepares to insert the jewel into the Pharaoh's headpiece, Numbuh 5 then enters and points out that if he'd finished, he'd see that the last sentence is "But share not, and only taste asparagus." He blows her off and begins the ritual and transforms into a giant candy mummy. Sure enough, the aforementioned curse takes effect and he blames her. She retorts she did warn him, not that it does her any good.
  • Sequel: To those confused with Numbuh 5 and Heinrich knowing each other, this episode is a sequel to the comic "Operation: G.R.A.N.D.A.D."
  • Ungrateful Bastard: After everything Numbuh 5 went through to procure the Blurpleberry Supreme for his birthday, Numbuh 1 disgustedly says he prefers cherry.
