The Delightful Children From Down The Lane invite everyone, including the Kids Next Door, to their mansion for a party. While everyone enjoys the festivities, Numbuh 1 is on the lookout for trouble.

Now loading tropes:

• Accidental Hero: Lizzie taking a photo with her camera, the flash of which neutralises the effect from the Delightful Children's delightfulization camera. Then her chucking her cup of punch at Nigel and hitting the fuse box instead.
• Alone Among the Couples: How Numbuh 1 finds himself when his teammates quickly pair up and leave him "single".
• Bifauxnen: Numbuh 5 wears a suit to the party.
• Big "SHUT UP!": Lizzie in response to the Delightful Children trying to interrupt her yelling at Numbuh 1.
• Brainwashed and Crazy: The Delightful Children use the party to Delightfulize the children. If a camera's flashbulb goes off, it breaks the hypnotism.
• Early-Installment Weirdness: Numbuh 4 has no problem with pairing up with Numbuh 3 for a date and subsequently dancing with her at the DCFDTL's party. Later episodes would have him express his distaste for "girly" things, and also have a much harder time asking Numbuh 3 out for social events.
• Evil Costume Switch: When Numbuh 1 sees that all the guests, including his teammates, have been brainwashed and delightfulized, his suspicions that the party was a trap are confirmed. The guests' regular partywear is replaced with the typical attire worn by the Delightful Children when brainwashed, then, thanks to a flash of a camera, their personalities and clothes return to normal.
• Fighting Your Friend: Numbuhs 2, 3, 4 and 5 are brainwashed and delightfulized, at least until the effects of the hypnotism are broken by a camera's flashbulb.
• Foreshadowing: Delightfulized Numbuhs 4, 5 and 3 look very similar to Bruce, Constance and Alessandra. The truth about the Delightful Children's origins will eventually be revealed in Operation: Z.E.R.O..
• Innocuously Important Episode: This episode introduces the concept of delightfulization for the first time.
• Intertwined Fingers: Lizzie and Nigel hold hands as they watch the firework show at the end.
• Properly Paranoid: Numbuh 1 fears the party is a plot, and he's right.
• Ship Tease: Numbuhs 2-5 and 3-4 quickly pair as dates for the party.
• Skewed Priorities: Lizzie is completely oblivious to the danger of being delightfulized because she's preoccupied thinking she's on a date with Numbuh 1.
• Skyward Scream: Numbuh 1 snapping and telling off Lizzie begins with this.
  Numbuh 1: IT IS NOT A DATE!
• Weaponized Camera: Lizzie's camera flash undoing the delightfulization gives Numbuh 1 the idea to put it into a B.O.T.T.L.E.C.A.P. to help free the rest of the delightfulized kids.
