With the Decepticons and Euro Britannia digging in, the group decide to take a moment to relax.
- Adapted Out: Due to the author finding him pointless and annoying (and the existence of Groundbridges making it easy for the group to leave whenever they want), Anou's scenes in Warsaw are cut entirely.
- Ascended Extra: Anna shows up to take part in the scenes in the gypsy camp.
- Breather Episode: Compared to the last chapter, this one is a lot less intense. Even the more emotionally charged moments involving Cera and the elder are tinged with hope instead of despair. Steeljaw's scene though...
- Does Not Like Magic: Ultra Magnus sees Geass as a dangerous power that shouldn't exist because of what Shin Hyuga Shaing and Megatron have done with it, and because of its likely connection to Unicron. He voices as such to Elita-1 who voices similar apprehensions but is willing to give it a chance because of the good Optimus and Lelouch have done with it.
- Dragged into Drag: Lelouch ends up in drag when the Black Knights visit a gypsy camp due to being the last outfit available. He's not happy at all about it. Everyone else (especially Nunnally) finds it hilarious.
- Insistent Terminology: The gypsy woman tells Cera that she is no witch, because a "witch" is someone who sells their soul to the devil to gain power. Cera didn't sell her soul, it was taken from her. This also means she can take it back, and is already on her way to doing so.
- Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: An elderly gypsy woman reads Cera's fortune, and despite Cera thinking it was fake and was only humoring her, the gypsy is able to accurately guess that the Cera is older than she appears and knows that she has seen and been touched by "by the Devil.note " It's never made clear if the gypsy woman also had special powers or not.
- No-Sell: Optimus, due to age and experience, proves immune to Milly's attempts to embarrass him over his feelings for Elita-1. In fact, it's implied he literally has no idea what she is talking about.
- Ship Tease: Rai and Shirley, Suzaku and Euphie, Milly and Rivalz, Orpheus and Monica, Anna and Yukiya, Nunnally and Alice, Lelouch and Kallen, and (eventually) Akito and Leila all dance together on their final night at the gypsy camp.
