While the plan in Euro Britannia goes on, Optimus and the others detect a signal belonging to the Dinobot Grimlock, but it too has been intercepted by the Decepticons.
- All Your Base Are Belong to Us: The chapter ends with Shin and Steeljaw about to launch an attack on Castle Weisswolf.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: After transforming into his beast mode, Grimlock utterly lays waste to Shockwave's forces.
- Didn't See That Coming: Except for Shockwave, this is virtually every participating combatants' reaction upon witnessing Grimlock's transformation into his T-Rex alt-mode.
- In Spite of a Nail: Akito still ends up fighting a big red Knightmare with miniguns for hands. Since Ashley ran off with the Glinda Knights the previous chapter, it's instead a Geassed Marybell who pilots the suit.
- The Juggernaut: Shockwave makes it clear from the beginning that even with him and nearly the entire Geass Order, they can only hope to immobilize Grimlock when they find him. Sure enough, once Grimlock breaks free and begins utterly routing them in his T-Rex mode, retreat becomes the very logical option.
- Killed Off for Real: Pollux and Castor rui Britannia, Nebiros, and the Geassed Gaudefroy and Raymond are all killed over the course of the chapter.
- Lured into a Trap: Shin and Steeljaw rig the Gallia Grande to blow up once all the Autobots and Black Knights are aboard.
- Neck Lift: Grimlock does this to Hot Shot after Hot Shot shoots him in the face to wake him up from stasis lock. Luckily for the young Autobot, Grimlock spares him after he explains that he and the others are there to rescue him.
- Oh, Crap!:
- The Autobots and veteran Black Knights' reactions when they realize that the Gallia Grande has a contingent of Insecticons.
- Except for Shockwave, this is everyone’s reaction to seeing Grimlock transforming into a T-Rex.
- A Truce While We Gawk: When Grimlock revealed his T-Rex alt mode, fighting from both sides comes to a total halt.
- Unwanted Assistance: After Hot Shot gets Grimlock's attention and says he and the others are there to save him, Grimlock says he can save himself and proceeds to do just that by transforming into his T-Rex mode.
- Wham Episode:
- Grimlock kills the rui Britannia twins and Nebiros before agreeing to join the Autobot-Black Knight alliance.
- Lelouch's team successfully takes the Gallia Grande, breaking Marrybell and Akito free of Shin's Geass, convincing the former to side with the Alliance.
- An explosion abruptly consumes the Gallia Grande with Lelouch and company still inside.
- Shin and Steeljaw are mounting a siege of Castle Weisswolf, with a new device that can prevent Groundbridges from forming, ensuring the castle's occupants can't escape.
- Anya and Marianne (who have formed a truce) have passed on a secret message to Shirley of all people, and are secretly working with Mr. Fenette to free Jeremiah from his brainwashing and oppose the Geass Order.
- In the final scene, we learn of a few new projects that Shockwave has been working on, some of which are nearly complete: The Damocles station, his 'project' back on Cybertron, a 'Nemesis Project' that might have V.V. as the controller, and something Megatron has come up with based off the zi Britannia brothers' work: Project Neo-Ragnarök.
