The heroes are eager for the arrival of Bulkhead's old friend and Wrecker buddy, Wheeljack. What could possibly go wrong?
- Adaptation Expansion: On the Code Geass side of things, this is the last chapter that takes place during the Time Skip between "Refrain" and "Guren Dances".
- Badass in Distress:
- Wheeljack is held prisoner by the Decepticons like in canon. This time though, he also needs to deal with Megatron, as opposed to Starscream.
- Kallen gets taken hostage by Makeshift after pushing Tamaki out of the way, and when Makeshift's identity gets exposed.
- The Faceless: Subverted, as compared to canon (where Makeshift's true form was only seen in shadow), here, his true body, which is based on art by Airachnid1301
, is seen in full. - Sixth Ranger: Wheeljack joins the Autobot/Black Knight alliance after the main team was established in Chapter 2, Awakening. He stays with the team instead of going back into space like in canon.
- Somebody Set Up Us the Bomb: The Autobots and Black Knights send Makeshift back with a little surprise... one that explodes right before the shifter can explain where the Ark is.
