English and French Episode Title: Spectromania
Aelita gets hugged by a 6th grader, who's actually a specter attempting to get XANA's source code back.
This episode contains examples of:
- Cutting the Knot: The first specter just completely removes the core of the door Ulrich and Odd were holed up in.
- Gut Feeling: Aelita has one when she returns to reality, in that Yumi may be able to deactivate the tower in her stead. She's proven correct, and Jérémie theorises it may be due to the XANA-implanted source code, but nothing concrete.
- Nerves of Steel: In order to access the towers, Odd has to remain calm under pressure and not be stressed out. This was only implied in the original series, but Odd exhibits this here.
- Oh, Crap!: Odd has this reaction when Jérémie tells him the new specter is Ulrich. Turns out it only looks like Ulrich.
- Offhand Backhand: Yumi kills a Blok this way.
- A Rare Sentence: Odd saying "I never want to go through a wall again".
- Scenery Porn: The desert sector has never looked so sandy. Now with actual sand dunes!
- The Juggernaut: XANA!Ulrich chasing down Ulrich and barging into his room with relative ease.
- The Virus: The effects of being hugged by the specter is ringing ears, delusions, going blind, and feeling sick.
