- Ripped from the Headlines: Someone attacks a public place because of a conspiracy theory they heard about on social media, clearly in reference to Pizzagate.
- Stable Time Loop: Kaela notices a painting in Roxie's office with a date written on it, which looks similar to her style. While in the past, she realizes she was the one who painted it, to let Mel know when in time they got sent.
- Time Travel: Mel can now transport things back and forth through time, look into the past, and "pull" things out of the past.
- The Unreveal: Kaela's birth parents are revealed to be... two people we've never seen before.
