"[The] point is, I feel right at home here. I love watching the little kangaroo bears climb the menthalyptus trees."
Mel Gibson

The sixth episode of the second season of Celebrity Deathmatch, also known as Celebrity Deathmatch Internacional.

This episode consists of three pre-determined fights that take place at different locations around the world. The first undercard fight takes place in Australia, and sees action stars Mel Gibson and Paul Hogan battling to the death. The second undercard fight takes place in Cuba and has Antonio Banderas take on Cheech Marin. The main event of the episode takes place in the Netherlands, and features a three-way fight between singer Bono, model Fabio, and artist Yoko Ono.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Art Attacker: Yoko Ono bludgeons Bono to death with an art sculpture that she had created moments prior.
  • Battle Boomerang: Paul wields one of these in his fight against Mel.
  • Berserk Button: Cheech starts taking the fight seriously after Antonio accidentally kills Fidel Castro, whom Cheech was getting along very well with up until this point.
  • The Cameo: This episode features appearances from Natalie Imbruglia, Fidel Castro, and Andrés Cantor.
  • Can-Crushing Cranium: Paul crushes a can of beer against Mel's face quite early into the fight.
  • Clothing Damage: Antonio cuts away at Cheech's clothes with his sword, until he is reduced to his underwear.
  • Cooking the Live Meal: After being impaled on one of the ring posts, Paul is then thrown onto a waiting barbecue grill and is burned alive by Mel's personal chef.
  • Cruel and Unusual Death: Antonio Banderas is strung up by his feet and beaten like a piñata until his innards are spilled out through an Agonizing Stomach Wound.
  • Eye Poke: Mel manages to poke out both of Paul's eyes, momentarily blinding him until he puts them back in their sockets.
  • Fake-Hair Drama: After breaking free from Fabio's Kiss of Death (and his hypnotic gaze), Yoko Ono retaliates by yanking his hair and revealing that he's actually wearing a wig. Fabio is understandably embarrassed to have his much, much shorter (and receding to the point of baldness) head of hair.
  • Fake Muscles: Yoko Ono humiliates Fabio further by pulling off his muscular chest piece, revealing that he is actually just a thin man with a pot belly.
  • Gutted Like a Fish: Fidel Castro is accidentally murdered in this fashion when Antonio mistakes him for Cheech amidst a cloud of smoke.
  • Head Crushing: Yoko Ono brutally crushes Bono's head using her art sculpture.
  • Hypnotic Eyes: Fabio pleads with Yoko Ono to help him escape from Bono's leghold. Yoko initially refuses until Fabio tells her to look into his eyes, resulting in her (and Nick) falling under his control.
  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: Mel Gibson impales Paul Hogan on the end of a ring post.
  • Killer Bear Hug: Bono tries to give one to Fabio, however this is nigh-impossible due to the amount of body lotion that Fabio has applied.
  • Kiss of Death: After seducing a hypnotized Yoko and laying her on a sofa-bed that he has summoned, Fabio gives her a kiss that he says will "take [her] breath away." Quite literally, when she struggles to breathe as he's kissing her.
  • Murphy's Bed: Yoko Ono is folded up and crushed in a sofa-bed by Fabio.
  • No Hero to His Valet: The reason Paul is fighting against Mel is because he believes that he's forgotten his roots ever since he made it big in Hollywood.
  • Non-Specifically Foreign: While Bono and Yoko are noted to be from Ireland and Japan, Fabio's place of origin is billed as "Foreign Country"; he gives evasive answers when asked where he's from. note
  • Noodle Incident: Between mid-fight conversation back at the home arena, it's revealed that Nick had to undergo two cavity searches.
  • Off with Her Head!: Natalie Imbruglia is accidentally decapitated by a stray boomerang thrown by Paul.
  • One-Woman Wail: Parodied with Yoko, who starts emitting one in response to Fabio stroking her leg while she is in a hypnotic trance.
  • Phoney Call: Mel distracts Paul into think that he's speaking to his agent about getting him a role in Lethal Weapon 4
  • A Scar to Remember: Antonio carves the letter 'L' into Cheech's chest.
  • Severed Head Sports: Natalie Imbruglia's decapitated head is seen being used as a rugby ball by a random sports team at ringside.
  • Smoke Out: Fidel Castro offers his cigar to Cheech, who starts to smoke it excessively, to the point where it creates a smoke screen that severely reduces visibility in the ring.
  • Spectator Casualty: Natalie Imbruglia is accidentally decapitated during the first fight.
  • The Stoner: Cheech spends most of the fight under the influence of marijuana.
  • Think of the Children!: Bono's non-sensical motivation for agreeing to take part in his fight against Fabio and Yoko.
  • Two-Faced: Paul manages to slice half of Mel's face off, resulting in this.
  • Unexplained Recovery: After having half of his face stripped to the bone, Mel returns to his corner where he is treated by his hair and make-up team...only to return with the his face fully intact.
