Due to confusion, Milo's dad promoted "Flamingo Man" in his novelty store. However, Milo and Lizbeth must assist Sanjay's baseball team.

Tropes in this episode:

  • Baseball Episode: The overall plot for this episode is that Sanjay's dad wants his son to become a big star so Sanjay needs Milo to help make him the baseball team's best player.
  • Didn't Think This Through:
    • Milo uses a transceiver system on Sanjay to do whatever he says whenever he swings the baseball. However, he didn't swing the ball on time causing his first strike. Then after Sanjay hears Milo in the receiver saying to swing the bat, he swings it without the ball being pitched causing his second strike. After the ball was pitched and Sanjay swings it correctly, he supposed to run home in the field, but instead he actually went back to his home to watch TV, which Milo then drags him out back to the field. Unfortunately, the baseball pitcher's arm was injured causing Sanjay to become the new pitcher for the game although he doesn't know how to pitch.
    • To boost his confidence of being the new pitcher, Milo decided to give Sanjay his lucky baseball to pitch. Unfortunately, he accidentally gave him a baseball-shaped yo-yo instead of his lucky baseball, causing the batters to miss the "ball" and starts cheating.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: Milo uses his "Bird Brain" to solve the cheating problem as Sanjay has to play baseball nationwide since if he gets caught, he'll get in trouble and Milo has to hand out more papers forever. He does mention that Sanjay is a funny guy so he decided to bring a lot of joke items from his dad's novelty store (as well as keeping the yo-yo) during the nationwide game as if he can't play baseball properly, he can at least play the game a lot more funnier and the crowd will love him.
  • Exact Words: After Sanjay swings the ball properly, Milo tells him in his receiver to run home but he actually went back to his home instead of running home in the field.
  • Pyrrhic Victory: After finishing the game with these novelty items, Milo does a favor with Sanjay to hand out his papers to sign, which unfortunately leads him to become promoted at his dad's novelty store as an executive marketing guy and continues to hand out more papers regardless.

Wendell becomes Commander Whooping Crane to face-off with Milo's Captain Flamingo identity.

Tropes in this episode:

  • Bait-and-Switch: During the Narrator's So Once Again, the Day Is Saved moment, Commander Whooping Crane takes Captain Flamingo's place to pose, but then gets sprayed out by Captain Flamingo with his seltzer bottle, posing as usual.
Narrator: Captain Whooping Cra... Captain Flamingo! Looking out for kids in a BIG way!"
  • Brick Joke: After Max calls the Captain to help save him from a new "supervillain" (even if he actually didn't do any harm to him and it was just Wendell's alter ego Commander Whooping Crane), he uses a seltzer bottle to try to spray him but he holds the nozzle backwards, causing him to spray himself. The joke was then repeated at the end of the episode when Wendell was forced to clean up the root beer stained mess from his model rocket in Milo's room after Milo suggests him that seltzer bottles can get rid of root beer stains easily which Wendell then uses but also holds the nozzle backwards causing him to get sprayed as well.
  • Cat Up a Tree: Ruth calls the Captain to help after her cat Gladys gets stuck in a tree.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Milo uses spring sneakers to get Gladys off the tree but Wendell decided to use his jetpack to get her quickly after Milo takes a while trying to jump high to get up the tree. Milo then snatched the cat away from Wendell causing her to return back to the tree. Milo tries jumping again but then his sneakers gets tangled, causing him to get stuck in the tree which led to Wendell using his jetpack to get Gladys off the tree again.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: After Wendell's jetpack malfunctioned causing him to lose control of it with Ruth, Milo uses his "Bird Brain" that he can't see a way around it so he uses his paddleball to knock the jetpack loose, causing Wendell to land on the same tree where Gladys is stuck in and Ruth safely lands on his trampoline.
  • Exact Words: As Captain Flamingo and Commander Whooping Crane argue to each other to save Ruth's cat Gladys from a tree first, Lizbeth suggests to just flip for it. Commander Whooping Crane then uses his jetpack to do a flip in the air but she was meant to say to flip a coin to determine who will save her first.
  • Goofy Print Underwear:
    • After Wendell uses his flying buzzsaw to get Milo out of the tree from his tangled spring sneakers, it also cuts Milo's belt, revealing his flamingo underwear.
    • After Wendell lands on a tree, his belt gets stuck by a branch, revealing his heart-print boxers.
  • Heads or Tails?: Lizbeth flips a coin to determine who will save Gladys first — heads for Commander Whooping Crane, tails for Captain Flamingo. Eventually it landed on tails, causing Captain Flamingo to do it.
  • Improvised Jet Pack: A non-human variation of this involves Milo duct taping two big bottles of fizzy root beer to his model rocket to make it fly after it's thrusters fail, with rather messy results.
