Milo and the Gang Face More Problems

Milo is ring-bearer at his aunt's wedding and loses the ring! But his search for it is interrupted when Avi gets into one of his messes and knocks out the power in the tent where the wedding will take place.

Tropes in this episode:

  • By the Lights of Their Eyes: After the power in the tent goes out as a result of the generator running it getting wet and malfunctions as a result of a chain of events caused by Avi, this happens with Milo and Lizbeth once they went back inside to the tent.
  • Didn't Think This Through:
    • To fix up Avi's Bubsy Bear plush, Milo uses his inflatable bicycle pump to pump the air back to the plush, which Milo starts pumping it slowly. However, Avi felt like that he is taking too long, so he decided to take over and pump it more faster, which then deflates and causes another chain of events to happen.
    • To light up the tent again, Milo uses his glow-in-the-dark eyeballs to place them around the tent in a tasteful and decorative manner. However, Avi screws up the plan as although he was trying to help place them, he accidentally drops them, causing them to get scattered around the tent in a non-tasteful and non-decorative way. This lead to him using his extendo-grabber to collect them back slowly. Unfortunately, just when he started doing it, Avi uses his mom's riding vacuum cleaner to clean them up faster, which could lead to another chain of events to happen (which thankfully was averted this time).
  • Disaster Dominoes:
    • Avi was eating breakfast and was meant to pour some milk on his cereal. He accidentally misses, causing his spoon to hit a cup of grape juice which spills over his sister's Bubsy Bear plush. He then tries to put in the laundry to clean but he throws it so hard, it hits the washing machine which causes a lot detergent to spill in the machine which then caused a lot of suds to overflow the machine. He then took out the plush from the machine and throws it into the other washer, which does it thing but when it's finished, the plush became totally messed up and melted, which if his sister sees it, she will freak out.
    • He then takes over to pump the air back to his Bubsy Bear plush from Milo faster due to him taking too long with it. This lead to the plush deflating and lands at the laundry room, where Milo's mom is seen ironing clothes and starts ironing the plush. Dishrag then sees a bird and tries to catch it, only for her to land also to the laundry room on Milo's mom's head. Due to her not turning the iron off, the smoke for the iron causes the smoke alarm to go off which led to the firefighter's arriving to the house by spraying water to get rid of the smoke from the iron, which the water from the hose then starts to spread to the tent generator, causing it to malfunction after it got wet, leading the tent to become completely dark.
    • Later in the episode, he uses his mom's riding vacuum cleaner to clean up the glow-in-the-dark eyeballs scattered around the tent faster. Unfortunately, it was heading to the main tent pole. Milo imagines that if he crashes that pole, the tent will collapse, knocking down a power line which then causes a major power outage in Halverston and Area (and the Greater Toronto Area and Canada in general), which then a storm approaches, the sudden appearance of dragons, and finally, the rest of Earth eventually explodes. When he did eventually hit the pole, none of these events actually happened and averted disaster this time.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: After Avi pulls a lever to make the riding vacuum cleaner run in reverse, it then causes the glow-in-the-dark eyeballs to start bouncing around the tent, a few of them then hits the malfunctioned tent generator, which starts working again leading to the lights in the tent to turn back on. He then runs over the Bubsy Bear plush causing the vacuum to turn itself off, which after a few birds scared him, the plush drops to a punch bowl, causing the liquid from it to restore the plush back to normal. Finally, the vacuum hits the table where the wedding cake where the wedding ring that Milo lost is at, causing Milo to accidentally swallow it. However, after Avi gives him a big hug to him as a way to thank him, he spits out the ring, landing back to its pillow, saving the wedding from being ruined.
  • Oh, Crap!: Due to Milo being the ring-bearer for his aunt's wedding, he must be responsible to not lose the ring under any circumstances. Unfortunately, he did just that after he accidentally throws it out from the pillow holding the ring, and lands on a wedding cake in the tent where the wedding will take place.
  • Slippery Skid: After Avi drops the glow-in-the-dark eyeballs in a non-decorative way, this causes the baker to start slipping on them.

The Even Greater Escape

Milo must help his team's best player, Rutger, escape from his babysitter in time for them to win the driveway ball hockey championship.

Tropes in this episode:

  • Anything but That!: Shortly after Rutger was caught by Meghan, he was then forced to sit down and watch TV so she can keep an eye on him, in which there's nothing on TV except for soap-operas, which Rutger fears worse.
    Lizbeth: There's nothing on but...
    Rutger: SOAPS?! NOOOOO!
  • Brick Joke: Milo's plan to mail Rutger to the hockey game that he was meant to go to failed as he was sent to a hockey game in Sweden. Eventually, the same Swedish hockey players returned at the end of the episode as they were impressed with Meghan's involvement in the hockey game due to her used to being their team's top scorer before she left Sweden due to having cheaper phone rights.
  • Deus ex Machina: At the end of the episode, Meghan (who is supposed to babysit Rutger) just happened to be a pro hockey player so she could take his place. Her hockey playing skills were never brought up before.
  • Didn't Think This Through:
    • To get Rutger to escape from Meghan in order to play in the hockey championship, Milo uses his remote-controlled bulldozer to dig up a tunnel. However, the signal of the bulldozer is interfering with the signal from Meghan's phone, causing him to malfunction and starts chasing him and Lizbeth. Eventually, Meghan caught them and were sent inside along with Rutger.
    • Milo then uses his origami to make a shipping box so they can mail Rutger to the hockey championship. It backfired as he was sent to the wrong hockey game at Sweden, home of the Swedish national hockey team. He was then sent back to his house shortly after that, where he was caught by Meghan again.
    • Milo uses his fishing rod to take phone receptor out of the room as whenever it goes, Meghan goes. Although he did takes the receptor out, and bounces through the neighborhood, it eventually comes back after landing in Rutger's roof, causing her to continue talking inside.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: Milo uses his "Bird Brain" as Meghan would only let Rutger go if she do what she says by staying here and play along. This lead to Milo having an idea by moving the hockey game by taking the puck, leading to the hockey team to follow him to Rutger's where the game will take place now. He then asks Meghan to play along which she actually accepted due to being a fan of hockey and she felt like that its much more fun to do than talking to the phone all day, leading to Rutger joining the game shortly after that. Eventually, his team won the championship against Wendell's team.
  • Human Mail: Attempted. Milo mails Rutger as a package from his origami kit to get him away from his babysitter who keeps tabs on him in order to play in the hockey championship game. It backfires since the package sends him to a hockey game in Sweden.
  • Origami Gag: One of Milo's failed solutions to make Rutger escape from his babysitter was to use his origami kit. He folds the paper into a bird, a fire-breathing dragon, a submarine and a horseback knight, before finally settling in with a shipping box, so he can mail Rutger to the hockey game that he was meant to play. It backfired.
  • Phoneaholic Teenager: Meghan is a lazy teenage babysitter who just can't seem to get off the phone.

How well does it match the trope?
