After Max discovers Gwen has been looking for a new job, he blackmails her into finding an elusive treasure. Gwen, desperate to not have David find out, is forced to play along.

- Book Ends: The episode begins and ends with Gwen getting rejected in job interviews.

- Gone Horribly Right: Gwen goes into her next job interview so overflowing with confidence that the interviewer decides she's overqualified.
- Inelegant Blubbering: Gwen collapses in tears and snot when she thinks she's about to lose her job at Camp Campbell.
- Laser-Guided Karma: Max blackmails Gwen and makes her day hell so she'll give him something great, something he doesn't even know he wants. After Gwen eventually finds his missing teddy bear, Mr. Honeynuts, she keeps it away from him while she talks to David, and when David is about to drive her to her next interview she announces to the whole camp that Max has a teddy bear before spiking him with it and everyone laughs at him.Gwen: Eat shit Satan!
- Murder Is the Best Solution: When asked for suggestions on how to beat the Flower Scouts' cookie sales, Snake's first suggestion is to kill them. Evidently Snake suggests murder a lot, and Pikeman is growing increasingly irritated at having to constantly tell him no.
- Noodle Incident: When David finds out about Gwen's job hunt, she hurriedly tries to convince him he's dreaming.David: Nice try, Gwen, but I won't fall for that a third time!
- Stating the Simple Solution: The Wood Scouts lose out on popcorn sales every single year because the Flower Scouts beat them to the punch with cookies. Gwen tells them to just move their popcorn sales to before the Flower Scouts start selling cookies.
- Took a Level in Jerkass: Max has never been nice, but blackmailing Gwen was his shittiest deed by far.
- Yank the Dog's Chain: David understand's Gwen's desires, Gwen gets to deliver karma on Max, and she gets taken to her job interview. She's then told that she's overqualified for the position she's applying to.
- You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Gwen's reaction when she learns what the Wood Scouts took from Max; "You have got to be fucking kidding me."Gwen: I had to wring out what little information I could from your conversationally challenged friends, deal with the Wood Scouts shitty popcorn sales and other problems, the least of which is Pikeman's general understanding of how to talk to women, hiked up a mountain, dug through the mud, and almost got struck by lightning (Whips out teddy bear) for THIS!?
