- NOTE: This episode is entirely narrated by Hobbes.
When our story begins, Calvin had been acting weird for some time, having a near-constant Cheshire Cat Grin. Hobbes notices something is up when he seemed to be enjoying one of his dad's lectures. When pressured, Calvin finally admits to have been up to something, though he refuses to tell Hobbes exactly what it is until they're in his room out of sheer paranoia.
There, he reveals the Time Pauser, which obviously stops time. note He swiftly uses this power to create mischief, such as making a teenager spray-paint a cop by turning him around and saving himself from Moe's Gang of Bullies.
Unfortunately, he keeps using it for misanthropy, covering his classmates in glops of food and outsmarting Hobbes' trademark pounces. Eventually, Hobbes gets fed up with it and simply hides it in the car.
The duo finally reach a compromise, and all is returned to normal. Hobbes ends the episode by politely requesting some seafood.
