Calvin and Hobbes are holding a G.R.O.S.S. club meeting in Calvin's treehouse, which quickly descends into an argument over meeting protocol.

- Easily Forgiven: Calvin immediately lets Hobbes back into G.R.O.S.S., and even promotes him, when Susie shows up and he wants help throwing rotten apples at her. Of course, his initial offense (singing the club anthem song before the meeting instead of after) was pretty minor anyway.
- Enemy Mine: Calvin and Hobbes are fighting with each other in their treehouse, Hobbes having left the club to form his own, each promising to dedicate themselves to the destruction of the other...and then Susie shows up. The two decide to forget about their spat and unite against her, pelting her with rotten apples.
- Fun with Acronyms: Hobbes's new club that he plans to form is called "Calvin's A Dope" or C.A.D. for short.
- Produce Pelting: Calvin and Hobbes chuck a bunch of rotten apples at Susie when she shows up beneath their tree fort.
- Start My Own: Calvin admonishes Hobbes for not following meeting protocol, so Hobbes quits the club and says he'll form his own called "Calvin's A Dope".
