Go To

Calvin is trying to do his homework, when his personal gravity suddenly reverses and he goes up to the ceiling.

Tropes

  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: The second half of the arc has Calvin endlessly growing in size, briefly passing through this phase before growing even larger.
  • Gravity Screw: The first half of the arc deals with Calvin's personal gravity reversing, pulling him (and only him) to the ceiling.
  • Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: It's at least possible that Calvin actually did have his personal gravity flip and his size start to wildly grow out of control, only for both things to revert to normal just as his mom showed up to check on him. Of course, given that no one else in the world noticed a young boy suddenly growing to the size of a planet, and then beyond it, it's certainly implied it's all just a product of Calvin's over-active imagination.
