Synopsis:
A doorwoman is found dead in the rooftop water tank of her building. A man is found chained and beaten to death on a playground in Washington Heights.Tropes for the episode:
- My Death Is Just the Beginning: The first victim makes it look like she was thrown in the water tank by an alcoholic doctor whom she blamed for her child's death.
- Overdrawn at the Blood Bank: The amount of blood coming through the tenants' showerheads, etc., along with what is shown in the tank itself, is considerably more than one human body contains.
- Suicide, Not Murder: The woman drowns herself, but stages it to frame the doctor for murder.
