Synopsis:
A suitcase containing a bomb is discovered on the floor of the NY Mercantile Exchange. Meanwhile a woman is found dead in a churchyard. Is it suicide or murder?Tropes for the episode:
- Christianity is Catholic: The dead woman is found on the grounds of the Catholic church where she was employed. Stella, who is Eastern Orthodox, makes the sign of the cross when she approaches the altar before speaking with the parish priest about the victim. Later, Stella tells Mac, who is Catholic, that the case got her back in church and asks him if he still goes. He replies, "Sometimes."note
- Madness Mantra: During the investigation, the code on a hard drive is found to contain the episode title repeatedly embedded throughout.
