The client of the week is a woman whose husband was in Gambler's Anonymous with Nate, relapsed, and got into it deep with a loan shark. Now the husband is dead and the loan shark is taking everything she owes.
- Framing the Guilty Party: Mike accidentally frames a cop for being a cop.
- Gone Horribly Right: Mike's plan is to frame the loan shark's right hand man as an undercover cop. Turns out, he really is an undercover cop.
- Improperly Paranoid: Mike is having trouble getting past the operation with organization that burned him.

- Steel Ear Drums: Averted, as Mike fires right next to some mooks' heads to disorient them so they can't hit Carter when he's on the run.
