Fi and Jesse are sent to the Caribbean to transfer Anson's money to a new account. Meanwhile, Michael and Anson put aside their differences to help an old friend of Sam's, who's being targeted by a Russian spy.
- The Bus Came Back: Beatriz, the girl who founded the Espada Ardiente in The Fall of Sam Axe, comes to Sam for help.
- Foreshadowing: Anson is really intent on getting inside Michael's head. He says it's because he wants to understand the man who destroyed his life's work. Really it's because he plans to start over and make Michael his first recruit.
- Living Legend: Once again, the Russians know who Michael is on sight. He has no hope of maintaining a cover.
- Properly Paranoid: On stepping outside Beatriz's hotel room, Sam looks around and quickly spots the sniper waiting to kill her.
- The Reveal: Mike's dad didn't have a heart attack; he was murdered when he got suspicious of Anson.
