Too Perfect

Bull's ex-wife Isabella, who is also Benny's sister, is charged after one of her company's products is suspected as the direct cause for a woman's death. When it appears that the jury will convict her for simply seeming too perfect, Bull has to show how vulnerable she can really be.

  • Broken Pedestal: Played with, in that TAC needs to shatter the glorious image Isabella projects to sell self-help products, making her seem more relatable to people without ruining her reputation and business in the process.
  • Convenient Miscarriage: The main reason Bull and Isabella divorced, because the former couldn't emotionally support the other during the trauma.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: The victim's products were intentionally tampered with by her friend to induce a fatal allergic reaction, so that she could be with the victim's husband.
  • Star-Crossed Lovers: Played with. Two of the jurors hook up during the case, and Bull's attempt to get the mirror jurors to do the same don't work...until he realizes that the crux of the relationship was a "no fraternization" policy and the allure of "forbidden romance". Telling his similar-minded mirror jurors not to fraternize leads to them hooking up soon after.
