Dressed to Kill
Chunk's mentor in the fashion industry is killed during one of her own shows, and tensions between him and Bull rise as TAC works to defend the prime suspect.- Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal: In the end, the true murderer was the mentor's #2 man, who was fired so his job could be given to the prime suspect (a newcomer with good ideas, but nowhere near as much experience).
- Red Herring: Partway through, it's speculated that the motive for the murder is a prototype pair of shoes that the client had designed, but the mentor was getting patented. It doesn't help that there's video evidence of him stealing back the prototype, making him look even more guilty. But it turns out in the end that the mentor was filing the patent under the client's name instead of stealing it, and the shoes were not a factor in her murder at all, aside from being one of the "good ideas" that made the mentor respect him more than their #2 man.
