Ginny Bretton (played by Justine Lupe), the young CEO of a company that was testing software for driverless cars, is sued by the widow of an employee killed by the prototype. Bull is hired to defend her and prove to a techno-phobic jury that the car isn't a murderer, but he can't shake the feeling that he's only being told part of the story when Ginny seems to conspire with a suspect.
- Replacement Goldfish: The "E.J." program shares its initials with Ginny's former lover, who died from an out-of-control car years earlier.
