Tropes
- Asteroids Monster: Malloy splits the first Squabbit in half with an axe, but this causes the two halves to become two whole Squabbits, who then proceed to reproduce quickly.
- Auto-Incorrect: When Woody sends Malloy a message on his phone, it ends with this:Woody: If you wanna make out, I'm gay if you are. Doh! I mean if you wanna make up, I'm game if you are! Goddamn auto-correct!
- Brick Joke: While walking in the woods, Malloy orders Siri to schedule a hot stone massage. Later, upon returning to the ranger station, he is approached by a pair of Squabbits, then a woman shows up pushing a hot stone massage on a trolley, which he throws onto the Squabbits to incapacitate them.
- Disproportionate Retribution: One of the poachers that Woody has called to kill the Squabbits gets killed by Pita's forces just for stepping on a cockroach.
- Gilligan Cut: When Malloy comes into the station and is told by Woody that the Squabbit is living with them, he says this:Woody: Well, now you have a choice to make. Because I'm not gonna sleep under the same roof as that thing.
(Cut to Malloy sleeping in the doghouse outside the shack)- Later, when the rangers are caged up, this happens:
Woody: What are you gonna do? Put makeup on us?
(Title card saying "Four hours later", followed by the rangers with makeup on)
Woody: Oh my god! - I Ate WHAT?!: Malloy is eating a piece of meat with the bear family he is temporarily living with, then this exchange happens:Malloy: This isn't that bad. What is this?

- The Squabbits are the result of a rabbit mating with a squirrel.
- At the end of the episode, Steve introduces the Wolverinagator, which is an alligator-wolverine hybrid.
- Nigh-Invulnerability: The Squabbits are kind of hard to kill, which becomes a big problem when they start eating the humans at the park. In the end, they all die once they devour Pamela Anderson.
- Psycho Pink: The Squabbits have pink fur and seem harmless, until they take over the park and start eating human flesh.
- Ridiculously Cute Critter: Squabbits are admittedly kind of adorable. Well, up until they develop a taste for human flesh.
- Shout-Out:
- The scene where Woody holds up the Squabbit in front of the crowd is very similar to Rafiki lifting up Simba in The Lion King (1994).
- Malloy watches an animated parody of the "Sneezing Baby Panda" viral video, except in this video, the big panda rips the baby panda in two.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Malloy splitting the Squabbit in two with an axe causes it to become two Squabbits that proceed to reproduce quickly. Later, the Squabbits develop a taste for human flesh and things go downhill from there.
- Why Won't You Die?: Malloy says this when his initial attempts to kill the Squabbit fail.
