• Abusive Parents: Chris' father(s) dare Chris to stab them to prove they're trapped in a dream, calling it a disappointment when he doesn't go through with it (until his mother makes the first stab, at least). Danny's parents also threaten their son with gunfire for trying to stop their fighting, only for an annoyed Danny to just shoot them.
• And the Adventure Continues: The final scene is, safely back at the base, Chris and his father answering a distress call at the same time.
• Et Tu, Brute?: It turns out Mr. Tezuka purposely betrayed the team again, having told the Warriors how to access the See-Thru Zone and reunite with their parents (and horse) just so the Worm can devour them all.
• Lotus-Eater Machine: At the start of the episode, the Bravest Warriors turn out to be one instead of successfully returning home at the end of Part 1. After realizing this, they break out, and then break the Courageous Battlers out of their own fantasies.
• Love Triangle: Before being eaten by the worm, Chris confesses to Beth...and Plum. In turn, Beth admits having feelings for Chris and Danny.
• Multi-Part Episode: This episode is Part 2 of the Season Finale.
• Season Finale: This is the final episode of the fourth season.
• So Proud of You: Danny's parents admit to feeling an odd sort of proudness in their son after he just shoots them both in their dream-world rather than deal with their abuse.
