Following the bomb attack eight weeks earlier, Hodgins returns to the Jeffersonian now wheelchair-bound but willing to work. Despite his assistance to the case at hand, Cam follows her conscience and sends him home so that his work does not impede his recovery. Such a decision does not last long, however, as she soon reconsiders and lets him return. Hodgins later learns from his doctor that he will never walk again and decides to hide this from Angela.
