Louise has her bunny ears stolen by a bully, while the restaurant deals with a mourning biker gang.Trope-sy Rider:
- Affably Evil: For a group of meth-making, cop-assaulting criminals, the One-Eyed Snakes are pretty pleasant guys.
- Big "NO!": Louise lets out an agonized "NO!" when it looks like her hat wound up getting incinerated at the dump.
- Big "WHAT?!": Logan lets out a big "WHAT?!" after realizing Louise wants the bikers to cut off his ears.
- Blatant Lies: albeit very poorly, Bob tries to dissuade the One-Eyed Snakes from drinking.Critter: You serve beer?
Bob: We... do not.
Critter: (pointing to Teddy drinking a beer) What's that?
Bob: That is beer. Sorry, we do. I Lied. - Call-Back: When the family goes through a box of old hats to try and find a replacement for Louise, two of the hats are Bob's taxi driver cap and Linda's "Boob Police" trucker cap.
- Calling Parents by Their Name: Louise addresses Linda by name shortly before going to get revenge on Logan.
- Characterization Marches On: Cynthia Bush is more reasonable and only becomes antagonistic after the One-Eyed Snakes threaten Logan, compared to later appearances where she's basically a grown-up version of her son.
- Chekhov's Gun:
- After two seasons of rarely being acknowledged by other characters, Louise's bunny ears are finally important to the plot. The ears get stolen and Louise's plotline revolves around her efforts to reclaim them.
- After wrecking the restaurant, Critter gives Bob a ton of cash to cover the damages and a card he can cash in for a favor. Louise later uses the card to get the One-Eyed Snakes' help in getting revenge on Logan.
- Darker and Edgier: Discussed; Gene asks if the One-Eyed Snakes' presence makes the restaurant this.
- Dub Name Change: Horny Dave is renamed to Sexy Dave in the French dub.
- Ear Ache: Louise's ultimate threat to Logan is to have the One-Eyed Snakes cut off his ears. The Snakes were just bluffing, but Louise was very much not.
- Even Evil Has Standards: For all the illegal things the One-Eyed Snakes have done, they do feel bad for trashing the restaurant, and Critter gives Bob money to cover repairs. They also admit that while they hate bullies and were willing to scare Logan, they weren't actually going to cut off his ears.
- Failure Montage: Louise has a long one of trying to get her ears back from Logan.
- Harmful to Minors: Critter makes sure to avoid how he actually got some of his jacket patches when the kids ask.
- Honor Before Reason: When Cynthia accidentally destroys Critter's vest, Bob calmly walks up to her and tells her to leave the restaurant for her own good, because he knows bad things are gonna happen if she stays. When she refuses, the One-Eyed Snakes block the restaurant door and tell her that she should've left when Bob warned her.
- "I Can't Look!" Gesture: After Louise reveals what she wants the bikers to do to Logan, Tina covers her face with her hands in horror... only to then try and look through her fingers, at which point she elects to just look away altogether.
- Ignored Aesop: Linda summarizes Louise's plotline and suggests that she no longer needs her ears to feel complete. Louise acts as if she's right at first, and even offers them up to Logan... except she's faking it, and vows never to lose her ears again.
- Inadequate Inheritor: Critter considers himself this to Horny Dave as chapter president of the One-Eyed Snakes, as he doesn't have Dave's authoritative skill.
- Laughing Mad: Louise is sent into a laughing fit after it looks like her hat was incinerated, at which point she finally vows revenge against Logan.
- Mama Bear: Linda gets into it with Cynthia over Logan stealing Louise's hat. Cynthia in turn gets into it with Linda over Louise siccing the One-Eyed Snakes on Logan.
- Maternity Crisis: Mudflap goes into labor just as the One-Eyed Snakes are squaring up for a fight with Mr. and Mrs. Bush over the Snakes scaring Logan into giving Louise her hat back.
- Meaningful Name: Take five guesses as to why the deceased leader of the One-Eyed Snakes was nicknamed Horny Dave.
- Noodle Incident:Linda: Remember when you took down that charity jar? You saw how pissed those breast cancer people got.
- Oh, Crap!:
- Louise when her bunny ears are stolen. Gene and Tina also wince because they know this will not end well.
- When Louise announces what she wants the bikers to do to Logan, Tina looks away in horror, and Gene remarks they're gonna have to lay low for a while after this.
- One Drink Will Kill the Baby: Bob expresses concern when he sees the pregnant Mudflap drinking beer.
- Overly Long Gag: It takes an astonishing amount of explanation for Critter to get that he's the father of Mudflap's baby.
- Pay Evil unto Evil: "You took my ears and threw them away. And now, these guys are going to take your ears and throw them away."
- Politically Incorrect Villain: The One-Eyed Snakes (or at least Critter and/or Horny Dave) have associated with white supremacists.
- Rage Breaking Point: After her ears are stolen, Louise is twitchy and on edge. Then Logan claims he threw away the ears, and Louise thinks they've been incinerated. She immediately snaps and vows to get revenge.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Logan's two friends immediately bail when the One-Eyed Snakes show up to repay their debt to the Belchers.
- Shout-Out: Bob compares Mort in leather pants to "fat white Prince".
- Suspiciously Specific Denial: One of Critter's jacket patches, as he tells the kids when they ask, is for "NOT being associated with the white power movement."
- Tragic Keepsake: Critter's vest used to belong to Horny Dave, and it's in tatters as a result of the fiery accident that Horny Dave died in. Cynthia Bush wrecking it further pisses off the entire gang and nearly gets the Bush family in deep trouble.
- Tranquil Fury: Louise spends much of the episode seething with barely-suppressed rage after Logan steals her bunny-ear hat.
- Twitchy Eye: Louise develops a frequent one after losing her ears.
- The Unreveal: This is currently the only episode to depict Louise without her bunny ears, but we don't see what her hair looks like underneath; she wears a hood over her head until she reclaims them.
- Wouldn't Hurt a Child: Critter and his group were okay with putting a scare into Logan, but he insists they weren't actually going to cut off his ears. Louise is not happy to hear this.
