Mustache Vandalism to the extreme.

While playing with their dad, Bluey and Bingo find the Magic Xylophone, which can freeze anyone when it is struck with the mallet. But when Bluey won't let Bingo have a turn with the Magic Xylophone, she becomes sad.

Tropes:

  • Brown Note: The Heeler family pretend that the sound of the xylophone freezes them.
  • Can Only Move the Eyes: When Chilli is talking to the girls in the yard, only Bandit's eyes move when he's frozen.
  • Diegetic Switch: Bandit pretends to play Mozart's Rondo a la Turque on Bluey. His humming becomes the background piano music for the rest of the episode.
  • Establishing Character Moment: The very first scene of the series has Bandit "play the piano" on a ticklish and amused Bluey, already letting the audience know that Bandit is a very playful father with an unconventional way of playing with his wound-up children.
  • Face Doodling: While Bandit is "frozen" by the Magic Xylophone, Bluey draws a mustache on his face with purple marker.
Bluey: Oh, what a splendid mustache you have.
  • Garden-Hose Squirt Surprise: At the end of the episode, when Bandit is about to spray Bluey with the hose, Bingo secretly grabs it to prevent the water from coming out, and then when Bandit looks down the nozzle, Bluey freezes him so he sprays himself in the face.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: When Bluey and Bingo are fighting over the Magic Xylophone, Bandit jumps on them, grabs it, and uses it to freeze Bluey.
  • Joke of the Butt: Bandit says he's going to have Bingo be the "bum bongos", and he taps her rear like bongos, making her giggle.
  • Once for Yes, Twice for No: Bingo freezes Bluey and says that she feels sad when Bluey won't let her have a turn tapping the Magic Xylophone. She promises to unfreeze Bluey if she'll let her have a turn and tells her to blink twice for yes.
  • Public Domain Soundtrack: Mozart's Piano Sonata No. 11 is used as background music. Bandit sings it during the end credits.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Bandit says "Oh, no!" and tries to run when Bingo pulls out the Magic Xylophone. He doesn't make it.
  • Symbolism: Early on, Bluey and Bingo use the magic xylophone to draw a mustache on frozen Bandit. Later on, Bandit embraces his role as their cackling antagonist, the mustache making him a mustache-twirling villain.
  • That Makes Me Feel Angry: Said almost verbatim by Bingo after Bluey won't let her use the titular xylophone. She freezes Bluey in her place with it so that she'll listen to her.
Bingo: Bluey, you always never take turns with me. You just take all of the turns! And it makes me feel sad.

Bingo Wants a Turn

When Bluey keeps hogging the Magic Xylophone, Bingo freezes Bluey in her place and says that she feels sad whenever Bluey won't let her play with it. She promises to unfreeze Bluey if she'll let her have a turn and tells her to blink twice for yes.

How well does it match the trope?
