• The Bad Guy Wins: The FBI's sting on Sandstorm goes wrong as not only is the biker gang killed, but the HTX is also stolen by Sandstorm as well long before they get to the scene.
• I Coulda Been a Contender!: At the end of the episode, Kurt and Jane look through his old military school yearbook. He mentions he could've gone pro in basketball.
• If You're So Evil, Eat This Kitten!: Kurt and Reade are disguised as two truckers driving the truck that Jane and Roman hijack to get the biker gang's trust. Roman shoots both of them to gain the gang's trust, knowing they had vests on.
• Wham Line: Kurt: "I know who Shepard is."
