  • Date First Aired: 05/02/2015

The girls have been out for a wild night out (the third one this week, even though it's only Monday) involving tequilas and traffic cones. Sharon is delighted with this outcome and proposes a girlie weekend away. Beforehand though, Tracey goes out on a shopping splurge with the others. Whilst getting unchanged, Dorien accidentally peeks in and is concerned about something she found.

At home, Tracey, believing that Dorien wants to nag her for overspending, hides from her. However, Dorien has more concerning news - she has seen a mole on Tracey's shoulder, and she's worried that it's a sign of something deadly. She thus forces Tracey to see a doctor. Whilst waiting, however, Tracey is unwilling, to tell the truth to Sharon, so she books the 70s Weekend festival that she wanted to go to.

It soon goes horribly wrong - Sharon brings along the somewhat annoying Fat Angela for the festival, and it gets worse when Sharon learns the truth anyway and is rightfully annoyed that she wasn't told about it. Even worse, it turns out that the mole is cancerous (although on the bright side, it means that no-one is going to the festival after all).

Tropes in this Episode:

  • Blackmail: Dorien threatens to tell Trace's other family members that she may have cancer unless she sees a doctor.
  • Closet Shuffle: Dorien hides in Tracey's cupboard so that she can ambush her whilst she's getting unchanged.
  • Clothing Damage: Sharon manages to rip the sheep pajamas that she was considering getting whilst trying to get in them.
  • Dog Got Sent to a Farm: Sharon usually goes to pieces when a relative dies, so Tracey claims that she lied to her that long-dead relative Great Aunt Enid is still alive at 107.
  • Downer Ending: The episode ends with the reveal that Tracey's mole is actually cancerous after all.
  • High Heel Hurt: Dorien considers buying a pair of high heels at the clothes shop but both finds it difficult to stand around with and difficult to get off.
  • Hypocrite: Travis accuses Tracey of being one after she books a music festival for her and the other girls, even though she had blocked his and Garth's desire to go to a music festival themselves.
  • Ironic Nickname: Fat Angela isn't actually fat, despite what her nickname would say. Apparently, calling her Skinny Angela would have been rude according to Sharon.
  • Kinky Cuffs: Tracey snarks at the beginning that she thought that sex-crazed Dorien loved being in handcuffs.
  • Look Behind You: Tracey asks that Dorien does not know that she's currently in, so Sharon claims that Tracey is in the garden instead. It only works for a couple of seconds though, leading to the sisters having to hide behind the couch.
  • Obnoxious In-Laws: Dorien didn't bother to tell her mother-in-law that she had a mole which led to her death on account of the fact that she was her obnoxious-in-law.
Dorien: My mother-in-law had one just like it. It got bigger and bigger and she was dead within three years.
Tracey: Then why didn't you tell her?
Dorien: Because she was my mother-in-law.
  • One Dialogue, Two Conversations: How Sharon learns the truth of Tracey's mole - she comes in complaining about how Tracey hadn't told her that she and Dorien would be sharing a room. However, the wording is vague enough that Tracey thinks that she's actually referring to the fact that she hasn't told her about her cancer yet and blurts it out in front of her.
  • Pun-Based Title: On top of being a reference to Without a Trace, it also refers to Tracey's Affectionate Nickname, since she has a cancer scare and it is feared that she will die.
  • Putting the Pee in Pool: Darryl once peed in a swimming pool during one of his and Tracey's flash holidays.
  • Recognition Failure: Sharon thinks that the Dalai Lama is an actual animal.
  • Shout-Out:
    • The title for the episode comes from the American show Without a Trace.
    • Sharon's comment about always waking up to a traffic cone after a drunken night out alludes to the Red Dwarf episode "The Last Day", which had Lister wake up in bed with a traffic cone after a fun night of drinking.
  • To Be Continued: The final scene of the episode has "To Be Continued" over it.
  • The Topic of Cancer: Tracey discovers a cancerous mole on her shoulder, with all the drama that ensues from it.
  • Unseen No More: After having been mentioned several times in the revival, Fat Angela finally shows up on-screen.
