Jessi's dad is forced to move into a sleazy apartment complex, where the boys all have their definitions of manliness redefined.

- Accidental Public Confession: Guy Bilzerian gloats that it doesn't matter if the titular apartment complex for single men is a mass of safety violations because he has bribed half the city council and blackmailed the other half into turning a blind eye to everything. Matthew, who was filming one of his vlogs, smugly informs him that he has been Caught on Tape.
- All of the Other Reindeer: Andrew turns into an outcast at school after his awkward breakup with Lola is outed.
- Back Story: Matthew gives a bit of his. His family was from Texas, and he was bullied online by people who called him "The Steer Queer".
- Big Damn Heroes: Caleb knocks Guy into the penis-worm infested pool at his apartment complex after Guy tries to steal the camera that got footage of him confessing his illegal leverage against the city council, complete with accidentally exposing Guy's toupee.
- Blunt "Yes": This is Caleb's answer to Matthew's serious question.Matthew: Caleb, do you think I'm just young, gay, and mean?
Caleb: Yes. - The Caligula: Guy Bilzerian lives like a king, while the other tenants have to deal with faulty wiring, unsanitary rooms and a pool full of penis-eating parasites.
- Call-Back: Coach Steve is once again a DJ, the job he had at Jessi's Bat Mitzvah.
- Everyone Has Standards: Andrew's utter cheapskate of a father is disgusted at the lack of maintenance on the entire complex.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: When we first see Guy, he's eating a steak on a barber's chair, which is exactly what he's depicted doing on a portrait right behind him. Later, while he's recovering from penis eating parasites, we can see that the portrait changed to match what he's doing.
- Guys are Slobs: The all-male apartment complex run by Jay's dad is filthy from top to bottom, including a pool that is repeatedly mentioned to be home to parasites.
- Harmful to Minors: While more creepy than harmful, Greg's roommate at Guy Town flirts with Jessi, prompting Greg to decide to move out of the filthy apartment.
- Karma Houdini Warranty: Guy ends up suffering a well-deserved Humiliation Conga for all the crappy behavior he's exhibited over years since he seldom paid any price for it previously.
- Lack of Empathy: Subverted in the case of Matthew when he expresses concern for Jerome when he gets electrocuted.
- Lonely Bachelor Pad: Guy Town is this in spades. It looks like a run-down multi-story motel that was converted into apartments for bachelors and divorced men, the latter of whom are mostly Guy Bilzerian's clients (and he owns the place).
- Mentor Archetype: Maury keeps reigning Tyler in whenever he does something that Maury finds unbecoming of a Horomone Monster.
- Papa Wolf: Greg is completely disgusted at his roommate hitting on his preteen daughter.Greg: (after his roommate hits on Jessi) Okay. That's it! I might deserve this shit hole, but she doesn't!
- Pimp Duds: Maury wears one for a while, and Andrew gets a pimp hat from Guy Bilzerian.
- The Reveal: It's revealed that Guy wears a toupee to cover up his huge bald spot.
- Wham Episode: Nick gets a new Horomone Monster, a young amateur by the name of Tyler.
- With Friends Like These...: Jessi and Missy, who have treated Andrew with respect in previous episodes, also join in the ridicule against him.
