The Fourth Doctor, Leela and an unusually-acting K-9 are led from Krelos and into Telos, right around the time the Second Doctor and Jamie are investigating a tomb full of Cybermen.

- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Jamie, who accidentally picked up some cyber-tech during the visit to Telos, which got stuck to his kilt and remained dormant inside the TARDIS until K-9 decided to reset the console room. From there, the Doctor brought the cyber-infected fragment of kilt to Krelos, allowing the now active tech to spread across the entire planet.
- The Worf Effect: Leela is incapable of overpowering the Cybermen. Or knifing them.
