The Fourth Doctor is craving doughnuts. Since K-9 is rubbish at making them and the TARDIS food machine's stuff is much too healthy, he goes in search of them on wherever the TARDIS landed. It turns out to be a holiday spa. Romana befriends a very fat woman named Sebella, is instantly mistaken for a reporter, and notices soon enough that people are losing weight suspiciously quickly.
The spa's leader turns out to be draining people's fat and selling them their own bodies back as soap and hand lotion. When she finally turns homicidal and gets her hands on Romana as well, the Doctor comes back just in time from the gift shop, holding a nice blue and pink towel for Romana. He begins giving the leader a rather fantastic lecture about the merits of natural character and the evils of artificial beauty. (K-9 agrees.) Romana manages to Reverse the Polarity, and the leader is reduced to nothing. Sebella decides to stay and make the spa into a hedonistic luxury resort.
