- Ambiguously Human: Most of the other wrestlers are so weird-looking that no one bats an eye at Fourarms.
- Conveyor Belt o' Doom: Gatorboy and Porcupine's mother was tied to long on a conveyor belt in an old wood mill. She was slowly heading towards a buzzsaw that's coming right between her legs.
- Five-Second Foreshadowing: After Ben confesses to breaking Gwen's laptop, Gwen asks "So, you think you broke my computer?" a few minutes before Gwen reveals that the laptop was never ruined.
- Friend of Masked Self: Ben claims to be Four Arms' manager in order to cash in as himself. Later, after Gatorboy and Porcupine see him as Ditto, Ben also pretends this is the case.Gatorboy: Your wrestlers are amazing! How many guys do you manage?
Ben: Ten... and counting. - Like Parent, Unlike Child: Physically. Gatorboy and Porcupine are brothers, but their mother is a normal-looking human woman. They explain that they take after their father.
- Oblivious Guilt Slinging: After all the trouble he's been through, Ben overhears Gatorboy and Porcupine's mother say that although she's disappointed they got tangled with bad people, she's at least proud they took responsibility for their mistake like real men. This makes Ben give pause about hiding from Gwen that he accidentally broke her laptop. Not long after, he comes clean.
- Pun: After Ben turns into Ditto and Porcupine asks where Four Arms is, Ditto responds with "Why have four arms (creates three clones) when you can have eight of them?"
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: This entire episode happens because Ben thought he ruined Gwen's laptop, and partakes in a wrestling competition to be able to buy a new one. As it turns out, the laptop was never damaged, just in sleep mode.
