- The Cameo: The Cerebrocrustaceans and Appoplexians, the species of Brainstorm and Rath, both appear in this chapter as part of the Pulserians' story.
- Creating Life Is Unforeseen: The Pulserian race was created by a complete random event, a transport ship was flying close to Cosmicore as the rainbow dwarf star unleashed an energy pulse that destroyed the ship, and the debris left behind gave life to the Pulserian race.
- The Engineer After being taught by the Cerebrocrustaceans, the Pulserians discovered they had a talent as mechanical engineers, and took to helping other aliens that were in need by answering their distress signals and repairing their ships for them.
- Meaningful Name: When the Pulserian eventually created a planet of their own, they named it "Neo Cosmicore", to honor Cosmicore, the micro solar system that gave birth to their race.
