Recap / Beavis And Butthead S 6 E 08 S Its A Miserable Life

Go To

Butt-Head meets his guardian angel.

  • Ambiguously Evil: This episode implies Beavis acts the way he does because of Butt-Head's influence, because in a world where Butt-Head was never born, he is a well mannered, if somewhat dim young man who volunteers at a soup kitchen.
  • Call-Back: Stewart is shown wearing a Poison shirt in the separate timeline. In "What's The Deal", Beavis and Butt-Head derided Poison as a "wussy" band not unlike Winger.
  • Christmas Episode: Takes place on Christmas Eve, but Beavis and Butt-Head only know it's the holidays because of television.
  • It's a Wonderful Plot: Spurned on by the prayers of the townsfolk, Charlie is commanded to kill Beavis and Butt-Head but attempts to reason with them first.
  • Grew a Spine: Stewart is this way in a world where Butt-Head was never born, as Butt-Head was the one to crush his self esteem.
  • Guardian Angel: Charlie for Beavis and Butt-Head.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Granted, Beavis and Butt-Head aren't the nicest people, but Charlie could have saved himself some time and energy if he simply pushed the duo into the river.
  • Not So Above It All: Van Dreissen prays to God to do something about Beavis and Butt-Head, if only because he's concerned they might breed.
