Recap / Beavis And Butthead S 5 E 45 Murder Site

Go To

Beavis and Butt-Head check out a murder site.

  • Berserk Button: Beavis at being called a "butt-knocker."
  • Chalk Outline: There's one at the murder site. Beavis pins Butt-Head down onto it when he beats him up.
  • Commonality Connection: Implied with Beavis and the murderer. The two bond over dealing with a male figure in their life who doesn't stop putting them down (with Beavis, it's Butt-Head, with the murderer, it his brother) until they hit a Rage Breaking Point and ending up in the slammer.
  • The Dog Bites Back: One of the few episodes where Beavis fights back against Butt-Head.
  • Here We Go Again!: Butt-Head doesn't learn at the end of the episode not to call Beavis a buttknocker and continues to do so.
  • Jerkass Ball: Butt-Head acts like more of an asshole than usual, which ultimately culminates in Beavis attacking him.
  • Odd Friendship: Beavis forms one with the murderer, who gives him a cigarette out of gratitude.
  • Pet the Dog: Despite the above trope, Butt-Head does get a small moment: after Beavis suggests going to the murder site, Butt-Head praises it as a good idea.
  • Police Lineup: Butt-Head points Beavis out in one, the latter oblivious to what's going on.
  • Rage Breaking Point: Beavis after Butt-Head won't stop calling him a buttknocker, starts to beat the crap out of him and declares he'll kill him. At least until the police show up.
  • Sexy Soaked Shirt: Implied with Baywatch, but the news interrupts.
  • Shout-Out: The duo watch Baywatch before it's interrupted by the news.
  • We Interrupt This Program: Happens when the boys are watching Baywatch, and Butt-Head assumes Beavis changed the channel because he was holding the remote.
