Tropes:
- Continuity Nod: When Beavis sees the raccoon that Butt-Head insists is a dog, he says "I thought that was, like, a bear or something," referring back to "The New Enemy" where the duo called the racoons bears.
- Karma Houdini: A minor example. The duo get scratched up from the wild raccoon they catch, with Beavis suffering most of the injuries but Butt-head is revealed to be scratched up too at the end of the episode. However, they don't suffer any legal penalties either for bringing a wild animal to the dog park that ends up injuring a dog that has to be taken to the vet.
- Precision F-Strike: While watching "I Turn My Car Into a Chia Pet," Butt-Head contemptuously calls the host an asshole, which is the crassest insult he's ever called anyone in the show's history. Even Beavis is shocked, saying how he's never heard him say that, to which Butt-Head responds "I've never needed to say it before. And this time, it needed to be said."
