Beavis and Butt-Head mistake a sewer for hell.
Tropes:
- Bait-and-Switch: After waking up from the explosion, Butt-Head thinks he's feeling up a demon chick, while Beavis believes he's being felt up by one. The scene leads us to think that Butt-Head is unknowingly feeling Beavis up, but when the lights turn on, it turns out they're groping themselves.
- Bedmate Reveal: A variant on this. After blacking out from the explosion, Beavis and Butthead both think that "demon chicks" are feeling them up. The lights come on, and... each of them is feeling themselves up.
- Brick Joke: Beavis and Butt-Head wait for a skyline to finish spelling out "boobs". Later, one of the construction workers mention that it really spelled out "books".
- Fate Worse than Death: Going to Heaven or being alive is worse than being in Hell in Beavis and Butt-Head's eyes.
- A Hell of a Time: The boys are convinced Hell is a cool place full of fire, bikers, and demon chicks who will score with them. Seeing none of those things convinces them to try digging deeper into Hell to find them.
- Made of Iron: The titular duo fall down a manhole, get Beavis whacked in the jaw with a jackhammer, rupture a gas pipe with said jackhammer, and end up setting off an explosion when the sparks from using the jackhammer hit the gas. They're still okay at the end of it all.
- Mistaken for Afterlife: When they fall in the manhole, Butt-Head misreads the "Department of Sanitation" sign as "The Apartment of Satan", making the duo think that they're in hell.
- No One Should Survive That!: In what might be the duo's greatest survival feat of all, Beavis and Butt-head rupture a gas pipe and set off an explosion. The two of them are ground zero in the middle of the blast and still live.
