It's merge time, baby!
The 24th episode of Battle for Dream Island and the 55th episode of the overall series, in which Blocky is eliminated, and the featured challenge is to throw a party for Four.
"The Game Has Changed" contains examples of:
- All of the Other Reindeer: Leafy is still treated badly by the contestants, particularly Lollipop, in this episode, but luckily, Firey decides to put a stop to it and makes a present for Leafy in the form of a ferris wheel as an apology gift. Gelatin is surprised that Firey would do this at first, but after Firey explains that he has forgiven her, Gelatin understands and backs off.
- Apology Gift: Teardrop apologizes to Gelatin by throwing him a party and giving him a comic she made called "Gelatin's Spacewalk".
- The Atoner: Firey decides to abandon the competition and make a ferris wheel for Leafy to make up for everything he had done to her.
- Teardrop is this as well, as she spends all episode making a party for Gelatin and writing a new comic for him to make up for the abuse she put him through.
- Call-Back: Firey's gift to Leafy is the thing that started their disagreements in the first place, but done right this time so they can both enjoy it; a ferris wheel with a lavafall that, every half rotation, switches to a waterfall.
- Disproportionate Retribution: Four despawns Purple Face twice for taking his news from him.
- Ferris Wheel of Doom: As a prank, Woody detaches Firey's Ferris wheel from the fulcrum while Firey and Leafy are riding it.
- Flat "What": Lollipop intentionally makes a bad party for the challenge just to annoy Four. Despite this, though, Four ends up loving it, granting her first place, and leaving Lollipop shocked.
- Jerkass Ball: Lollipop has it in the beginning of the episode, harshly quieting Leafy when all she does is try to talk to Firey.
- Laser-Guided Karma: Purple Face gets despawned by Four twice in this episode. Considering what he did to the Have-Cots last episode, he deserved it.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Firey has this reaction when Leafy calls him out for not standing up for her to Lollipop. Teardrop also has this reaction when Gelatin calls her out for her abuse towards him.
- Nice Girl: Flower is this in the episode. She breaks down when she thinks her nasty behavior got her eliminated, which was false as Blocky was eliminated, she lets Leafy come with her to her shop, promises to give Leafy immunity if she (Flower) wins, and calls Leafy her friend to everyone. She is also the only contestant to make a genuine party for Four in the challenge.

Out of Holiday Episode: Lollipop throws a Halloween-themed party to Four, despite this episode being released in September. - Pet the Dog: Four fully translates Woody's explanation of his party despite it all being a prank on his expense. He only gives his criticisms on it after Woody's done.
- Snarking Thanks: When Flower finds out she's safe, she happily dances until Purple Face spits out Leafy. Flower's response:Flower: Thanks for ruining the moment, Purply Head.
- Springtime for Hitler: Lollipop attempts to make a terrible party for Four, complete with a terrible song from Purple Face. She wins immunity as a result, and chooses Gelatin to be immune alongside her.
- Wham Episode: Firey and Leafy finally put their pasts behind them and make a new ferris wheel (one where both parties benefit and have fun on), Gelatin and Teardrop fall out and make up- resealing their friendship, the Have-Cots are spat back up by Purple Face and freed, and Woody takes over for Blocky in pranking when Blocky gets eliminated.
