And behind door number EXIT...

The tenth episode of Battle for BFDI and the 41st episode of the overall series, in which David is eliminated and the featured challenge is to bring back Four, without whom the competition cannot go on.

Tropes include:

  • Art Shift: The Eternal Algebra Class (or EXIT), which is a fully rendered 3D environment with the characters being animated in 2D.
  • Bait-and-Switch Accusation:
Four: (angrily) You did BFB while I was gone?! (happily, patting X on the head) Good job!
  • Can't Live with Them, Can't Live Without Them: After contestants keep dying, with neither Donut nor X being able to recover them, along with the realization that Four is the one who has the prize, everyone realizes that they need to get Four back.
  • Fake-Out Opening: The Battle for Nothing intro, which has Four missing, the dead and eliminated contestants missing, and those alive in their current states. The Battle for BFDI logo at the end is also changed to say "Battle for Nothing", complete with Four being missing and X being sad about it.
  • Favouritism Flip-Flop: When Bracelety arrives at EXIT, and is informed of Loser's lying, she says that she doesn't hate him until 8-Ball states that Ice Cube hates Loser, so Bracelety changes her mind and says that Loser sucks after all.
  • Foreshadowing: If you look closely, a notepad on Four's desk has a note that says to kill Clock. This sets up Clock's absence over the next five episodes and the team getting more angry at Leafy for her insensitive comment in BFB 15.
  • Freeze-Frame Bonus: There is a notepad on Four's desk which lists all the things Four has to do. One of the things that is on there is to kill Clock, which shows how sadistic Four can be.
  • Freudian Excuse: During his rejoining audition, Stapy says that he only caused his team to lose due to his "stapler instincts".
  • Literal Metaphor: After Pin successfully brings Four back, they give her a literal token of gratitude.
  • Mysterious Watcher: In The Stinger, Lollipop watches Taco's failed apology and Bell's reaction from afar, which works as Lollipop's Heel Realization about villainizing Taco.
  • Rejected Apology: In The Stinger, Taco tries to apologize to Bell about using her to get the twinkle off of the moon back in BFB 6. However, Bell doesn't forgive her and begins holding a grudge against Taco for this.
  • Supreme Chef: Pin baked the cake used for this episode's Cake at Stake.
  • The Bus Came Back: The contestants that had died during Four's absence get recovered this episode. Along with that, this episode shows off the EXIT, giving the eliminated characters some time in the spotlight.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: Four sincerely thanks Pin for bringing him back, and praises X for having done a good job hosting the show in his absence.
  • Wham Episode: The characters realize the competition is impossible to continue without Four, and Four is brought back along with all of the dead contestants. We also learn that the eliminated characters go to EXIT, a place inside Four where the people in it are doomed to solve mathematical problems forever.
