Red Hood and the Outlaws (Bizarro and Artemis) try to quickly sneak in and out of the Bat cave for supplies. To Hood's annoyance, everyone wants to say 'hello'.
Tropes:
- Adaptational Attractiveness: Bizarro is sometimes rock-like, white-skinned (as in, actually white and not just pale-skinned), and/or weirdly proportioned. This version looks like a metallic copy of Superman.
- Brick Joke: Upon seeing the Batcave, Artemis says that it's almost as dramatic as Jason, who protests the description of him. At the end, Jason asks if he and the Outlaws are ever leaving the mansion, and Alfred tells him not to be so dramatic, again to Jason's protests.
- Cloudcuckoolander: Bizarro. He has the habit of saying the exact opposite of what he means.
- Funny Background Event: Bizarro crooks his finger out to one side while drinking tea behind Jason.
- Handwraps of Awesome: Artemis, an Amazon warrior, wears bandages wound around her left wrist and right hand.
- No-Respect Guy: Very downplayed, as this presumably doesn't happen to Jason all the time, but his teammates cheerfully blow him off to visit other Batfamily members and even Alfred pokes a bit of fun at him.
- Food as Bribe:
- Alfred catches Red Hood and the Outlaws as they come into the cave and offers snacks. Jason tries to turn him down, but not soon enough, given that Bizarro loves mini sandwiches and tea.
- When Jason yells that he's taking everyone and leaving, Alfred calmly tells him that that's fine if it's necessary, but he did make Jason's favorite meal for dinner. Jason freezes mid-rant, takes a moment to think about it, and then reluctantly agrees to stay long enough to eat it. Alfred tries to bribe him further with dessert, which leads to Jason saying that he and his team will never be able to leave the manor.
- Instantly Proven Wrong: Hood tells Alfred (who's just arrived with a tea tray) that they don't have time for snacks...just as Bizarro has dug in and Artemis is about to follow suit.
- In-Universe Nickname:
- Jason calls Bizarro "Biz" when trying to keep him from going with Tim.
- Artemis calls Jason "Jace" when she goes off with Cassandra.
- Jaw Drop: Jason's mouth falls open when Artemis walks away with Cassandra.
- Tempting Fate: When Bizarro gets distracted by Tim's new video game setup, Jason scoffs that he can't believe this and tells Artemis to go retrieve him. Then he sees her offering to let Cassandra try her new sword.
- Your Favorite: Alfred convinces the exasperated Jason to stay for dinner by telling him that he made his favorite meal. What it is, he never says, only that it requires preparation, given that he said he'd cooked it "from scratch."
