Duke and Damian sneak out of a fundraiser in New York to work a case, only to run into some of the local heroes there.

- Human Trafficking: Signal and Robin sneak out of a fundraiser to investigate some leads Duke found on a kidnapping case. It turns out to involve a group of kidnappers holding women in a heavily secured warehouse. They team up with the local superheroines to free them.
- Let's You and Him Fight: Signal and Vixen nearly get into a fight, because each thinks the other is one of the traffickers. Luckily, Vixen yells she's going to avenge the kidnapped women and Signal shouts that he won't let her abduct anyone else at more or less the same moment, letting them know there's been a misunderstanding before they can do a lot of damage to each other.
- Punched Across the Room: When Signal grabs Mari to interrogate her, she grabs him and uses the strength of a gorilla to throw him across the alley, much to his surprise.
- Standard Female Grab Area: Averted. Signal grabs Mari by the wrist when he's getting ready to interrogate her. However, given that she's a superheroine and not a civilian as he thought, it doesn't work.
