Bruce Wayne is convinced by Alfred to go see Zatanna Zatara's magic show without bringing his Bat gear. It's on that same night that Copperhead decides to attack. Cue some quick thinking...and Bruce's worst nightmare...

- All Part of the Show: How Zatanna, Nightwing, and Bruce keep the audience calm during the fight. Zatanna claims that this is the finale of the show and calls for a volunteer from the audience to become a superhero and avenge Nightwing's treatment. She picks Bruce and magics him into Superman's costume (as well as adding a power-up) so he can cut loose without anyone making the connection between him and Batman.
- Bait-and-Switch: When Zatanna uses her magic to make Bruce look like a superhero, she chooses Superman.
- Bruce Wayne Held Hostage: Or, rather, stuck in the audience. Bruce can't act without revealing his secret...until Zatanna "turns" him into a superhero as part of the "finale".
- Busman's Holiday: At Alfred's insistence, Bruce takes a night off to see Zatanna's magic show...and spends it stopping a supervillain like usual when Copperhead crashes the performance.
- Butt-Monkey: Despite his introductory blurb saying he's wanted for murder, Copperhead can't get a break for most of the comic. He turns Nightwing into a bunny...only to discover that this has no effect on the hero's fighting skills, resulting in a full house seeing the supervillain get kicked around by a cute, small animal. He ends the night getting slugged unconscious by local playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne.
- Dramatic Irony: After Zatanna makes Bruce dress up as Superman, someone in the audience says that Bruce can make a good superhero. About that...
- Fantastically Indifferent: Nightwing is unbothered by the wand's spell turning him into a bunny, commenting that this happened, and he can work with it. He just picks up his sticks and keeps fighting, leading to an unusual scene of an adorable rabbit trouncing the snake-like supervillain.
- Forced Transformation: Copperhead uses a wand to fire a magic blast that Zatanna blocks but leads to Nightwing turning into a rabbit. Zatanna turns Nightwing back after the show is over.
- Funny Background Event: Several shots show Bunny!Nightwing fighting Copperhead. And, yes, a giant snake man getting kicked around by an adorable bunny is just as funny as it sounds.
- Let Us Never Speak of This Again: Once the crisis is sorted out, Bruce bluntly refuses to let Dick tell anyone that he was forced to dress like Superman to defeat Copperhead.
- Little Bit Beastly: When Dick appears while getting turned back to normal, he's human with black bunny ears.
- Killer Rabbit: Nightwing is literally turned into an adorable fluffy bunny. That hardly makes him less dangerous; he spends most of the comic kicking Copperhead's ass.
- Magic Wand: Copperhead gets a hold of one and fires a magic shot that Zatanna deflects, but instead it hits Nightwing and transforms him into a bunny.
- Morphic Resonance: When Copperhead transforms Nightwing into a bunny, Bunny Nightwing's fur is black with a blue highlight across the chest like his superhero costume.
- Mythology Gag: Someone says that Bruce looks just like Superman when he's wearing the suit. The heavy resemblance between the two has become a plot point in multiple comics.
- Papa Wolf: Played With. When Copperhead turns Nightwing into a rabbit, Bruce leaps to his feet, clearly ready to beat the stuffing out of the villain for messing with his kid. However, he can't actually move in until Zatanna comes up with a plan to make it look like part of the magic show.
- Why Did It Have To Be Superman?: Of all the magic disguises Zatanna could have picked, she turned Bruce's tux into a Superman costume. The audience loves it. Bruce...not so much.
