Summary
The Boonboomgers have started to become famous for defeating the Hashirien Kurumaju, being dubbed as "tire humans" by the general public. However, after saving a kid from being hit by a car, Mira is arrested by police officer Jou Akuse and taken in for questioning on I.S.A. investigator Shirabe Saibu's orders. Wanting to know why she's going through all the hassle, Taiya decides to step in, only for Saibu to order the Boonboomgers to immediately disband!

- Arrested for Heroism: After saving a child from being hit by a truck, Mira gets arrested by Jou and taken into custody for questioning on Saibu's orders, due to the Saibu believing that the Boonboomgers are interfering with I.S.A. jurisdiction.
- Attention Whore: The reason the Sanseaters create Sauna Grumer is because they're very jealous of the attention the Boonboomgers get from the public and realizing the public had yet to recognise them as the source of the recent "monster attacks".
- Cloth Fu: Sauna Grumer uses his towel as a whip.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: Genba uses a Boonboom Booster to contact Taiya about the chaos caused by Sauna Grumer, hinting that he may have already been given the reins to become a Boonboomger himself but has yet to find an actual need to use it.
- Hidden Depths: Ishiro mentions during the mecha battle that he goes to the sauna three times a week.
- Look Both Ways: Mira saves a kid from getting run over by a truck as Bun Pink.
- Match Cut: A wheel in the Boonboomger's base is juxtaposed with a soccer ball that a kid plays with.
- Not So Stoic:
- A subtle moment near the beginning of the episode sees Saibu trying to establish herself as a no-nonsense investigator when she's interrogating Mira, only to become flustered when Taiya contacts her through Mira's Boonboom Changer.
- Saibu notably starts blushing immediately after Boondorio calls her "onee-san"note お姉さん/"older sister". Over-Time localizes this as "pretty lady".
- People Puppets: Mira's "Boonboom Twist Drive" fires a Hard Light version of the Boonboom Handle that latches onto Sauna Grumer and allows her to take control of his body. She then fires a sonic blast to finish the combo.
- Playing with Fire: Sauna Grumer uses his power to progressively increase the temperature to dangerous levels, causing intense pain to civilians. Even the Boonboomgers are affected by it, until Taiya destroys a nearby fire hydrant that releases water to cool them down.
- Retractable Weapon: Taiya's "Boonboom Driver Drive" extends the blade of his sword to push the opponent around the world and then back to Taiya's position so he can strike them.
- Reverse Shrapnel: Ishiro's "Boonboom Shoot Drive" fires a single blast that splits into multiple energy bullets. These bullets then converge upon Sauna Grumer.
- Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: Despite Saibu's orders that they disband immediately, the Boonboomgers go after Sauna Grumer anyways, because someone needs to save the citizens, and the citizens were calling for the boonboomgers.
- Tempting Fate: As Taiya laments it's only a matter of time until national agencies get ahold of the Boonboomgers, the next scene cuts to how Mira got Arrested for Heroism.
- Third Time's The Charm: It takes three tries for Itarsha to make the Sauna Grumer, as she gets scalded by the heater twice before she gets the key in.
- Through His Stomach: Boondorio wins Saibu over through flattery and helpings of his signature curry.
- To Be Lawful or Good: Jou struggles between doing his duty as a police officer and help Saibu keep the Boonboomgers and following in their heroic footsteps even if it means possibly going against the law. He ultimately sides with the Boonboomgers, but circumstances mean that he doesn't have to agonize over his choice as the team chooses to work with the ISA, albeit on their own terms.
